Former Governor of Plateau State and pioneer chairman of PDP, Solomon Lar died in the early hours of yesterday October 9th in a hospital in the US after protracted illness aged 80 years old. Soloman Lar was a member of the first national parliament when Nigeria gained independence in 1960. He was elected governor of Plateau State from October 1979 until 1983. RIP
