Boko Haram kills scores in Abuja motor park bombing

Scores of people were killed and maimed as an early morning bomb explosion rocked a motor park in Nyanya area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Monday.
Nyanya is a satellite town bordering the FCT and Nasarawa State.
The explosion reportedly occurred in a section of the park allocated to luxury buses popularly called “El-Rufa’i buses.”
Worst hit was the area where vehicles plying Abuja-Ilorin-Kabba were parked.
Workers on their way to their workplaces were most affected.
An eyewitness, who survived with a deep cut in his right leg, said that the explosion occurred while he was calling passengers into his car.
He claimed that human flesh littered his car and others around it.
A combined team of security agencies and fire fighters are currently retrieving bodies and putting out fire at the scene.
The incident had led to disruption of movement into Abuja from that area with many workers, who were on their ways to work, stranded.
The loud sound and thick smoke that characterised the explosion attracted people to the scene from neighbouring areas such as Karu, Mararaba and Masaka among others.......see more pictures after the cut.

And again, Sophia Tchidi Chikere replies Tchidi Chikere

After Tchidi's outburst on ex-wife went viral , the ex-wife too has responded to him....drama indeed..

Tchidi Chikere, I read all you said about me and I laugh. Is that the best way to justify yourself? It is well. I will not exchange words with you still because there is nothing you say or write about me that will shake me because those that put their trust in God, He never fails them.

Why are you lying to people? For them to turn around and clap for you and justify what you did? Is it because people who know the truth are saying it and it's hurting you and you are now looking for a way to justify yourself. I give 10 years of my life and this is how you repay me? By disrespecting me and my family?

Defection: We Will Not Vacate Our Seats – 37 Reps

                             nigeria house of reps

In defiance of what it described as a misleading court ruling by Justice Adeniyi Ademola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the House of Representatives has declared that the 37 members who defected from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will not vacate their seats.
Speaking on behalf of the caucus which held a press briefing yesterday in the National Assembly, minority whip, Hon Samson Osagie (APC, Lagos) said that the part of the ruling that mentioned the lawmakers vacating their seats was a mere “opinion” since the case before the court was only to stop a change of leadership in the House.
He also disclosed that the affected lawmakers have already served the leadership of the House of Representatives, Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal with notice of appeal to maintain status quo pending the outcome of the appeal.
The lawmaker said , “We want to assure members of the public that there is no court judgment before the House directing any member of the APC to vacate his or her seat”.

Barcelona banned from signing players for TWO transfer windows following breach of FIFA rules.

Barcelona were today hit by a stunning transfer ban as FIFA finally clamped down on the ''trafficking'' of schoolboy players.
The Spanish giants were investigated by FIFA for 12 months over their youth recruitment policy.
And after finding that the Nou Camp club had been engaged in illegally recruiting and importing non-Spanish minors over a four year period, FIFA handed out a transfer ban for the next two windows – the whole of next season – and fined the club £306,000 (450,000 Swiss francs).
The Spanish FA were also hit with a £340,000 fine for allowing Barcelona to embark on a sustained and extended policy of what is viewed as child exploitation by the world governing body.
Today's shock ban represents only the second occasion that a major European club has been hit with such a sanction.

D'banj threatens to sue UK Daily Mail for labeling him a 'legendary womaniser'

kokomaster, D'banj has threatened to sue one of the leading tabloid in the UK, Dailymail, for describing him as 'legendary womanizer'. Dailymail in a recent article described Dbanj as a Legendary womanizer in his home country in an attempt to describe his relationship with former Miss America , Kenya Moore. Dbanj has now threatened to sue them over what he termed 'defamation of character. He disclosed this in a recent interview with Encomium Magazine,

"The story has no substance. I am even about to sue UK Daily Mail for defamation of character. I am discussing with my legal team. They didn't hear from me. Everything they wrote is totally wrong. They defined Kokomaster wrongly. I think they wanted to talk about Kenya Moore, who was a former Miss America, but they didn't get their facts right. Everything they wrote was false. They are going to hear from my legal team soon" D'banj threatened''

He also talked about leaving Mo'Hits, his deal with Kanye West and confirms he's found love.
About leaving Mo'Hits, D'banj said:

"No regrets because for me personally, life is dynamic. Change is the only constant thing in life. The only regret that I might have is that there would have been a better way for us to split. But it happened and it happened. And to God be the glory. It was as if God was about to separate me. Like five months after that, I got five juicy promotional deals and now the Glo endorsement".

About his Kanye West record deal:

"Kanye West is married now. The truth about it is that we are operating from different territories. How things work here is different from how what is obtainable in the states. They cannot control what I do here because na here I don dey since. It has always been a mutual partnership" he said.

About love and marriage, he said

"I have found love. But I won't tell you who. I'm going to marry at the right time. You guys are asking me when I'm getting married because 2face, Peter and Paul Okoye have all married. At God's appointed time, I will marry.

Helicopters drop food items, arms for Boko Haram members - Yobe elders say

who is deceiving who??

Former Minister of Finance, Mallam Adamu Ciroma; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe; elder statesman, Shetima Mustapha and other political leaders from Yobe and Borno state yesterday held a press conference in Abuja where they revealed that members of the Islamic sect were being supplied food, medicine and arms with helicopters and wondered why security agents and the state governments have kept mum on this fact.

The elders who met under the umbrella of "Borno Yobe Peoples Forum" wondered why the 20-hilux car convoys of Boko Haram members can move freely and execute their plans without being intercepted by security men who are supposed to monitor movement even with the curfew both states are placed on right now.

''They also asked the government to tell Nigerians who directed security officials to leave the Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in Yobe State few hours before the sect members attacked and killed 59 young students last month. Air Vice Marshal Al-amin Daggash, a former Chief of Air Staff, who spoke on behalf of other elders said;
“Are the authorities unaware of helicopters dropping arms and ammunition, food and medical supplies to areas well known to be strong holds of the insurgents? How were the insurgents able to attack the Maiduguri Air-Force Base and demobilise as well as burn planes and other military installations despite existing state of emergency and curfew in the town? How could 20 to 30 Toyota Hilux vehicles move in a convoy freely with subsisting curfew and still go undetected?''
“How did a little band of rag-tag misguided youths metamorphose into a well-kitted, well-armed killing machine moving freely in convoy of vehicles and supported by helicopters''.
“How did the Shilka Tank, a multipurpose self propelled anti-aircraft  artillery weapon, positioned to secure Giwa Barracks, fail to function resulting in heavy loss of lives of both civilian and military as widely reported in the media? Are we dealing with fifth columnists in this crisis?” he said''.
The elders asked that the State of Emergency that the three Northeast states, Yobe, Adamawa and Borno, are currently experiencing should not be extended as it has failed to achieve the purpose for which it was first enforced. According to Daggash, 17,000 people have been killed with over 3million people displaced this year.
